Swiss Cheesy Pork Chops With Mushroom and Onion Dressing

5-6 bone in pork loin chops – bone in (I like the flavor of bone in chops for this dish)
2 can chicken broth or stock
2 small cans of mushroom (do not drain)
Dehydrated minced onion
1 bag of herbed stuffing
2 cans of condensed cream soups such as 1 cream of mushroom and 1 cream of celery
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese or any other cheese you like

Preheat oven to 350 Degrees F

Make stuffing according to package directions. Use the chicken broth instead of water etc. Pour mushrooms into the chicken broth along with the dehydrated onions. Bring to a boil and add the stuffing, mixing to combine. If dry, add a bit more stock

Put stuffing evenly in a 9×13 pan. Arrange chops on top of the stuffing. Mix both cans of soup together in a mixing bowl and pour over the chops. Top the entire casserole with the Swiss cheese. Bake covered for 45 minutes then remove foil an bake an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and slightly browned.

Serves 4-6
