1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts, ends trimmed and yellow leaves removed
4 slices bacon, diced (uncooked)
3 tablespoons olive oil
Sea Salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper


Preheat oven to 400 degrees F

Place trimmed Brussels sprouts in large mixing bowl. Sprinkle bacon over top of sprouts. Put olive oil, sea salt, and pepper in a large resealable plastic bag. Pour sprouts and bacon into bag and shake until the sprouts are completely coated.

Pour onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and place on center oven rack.

Roast in the preheated oven for 30 to 45 minutes, shaking pan or stirring every 5 to 7 minutes for even browning.

If necessary, reduce heat the heat to prevent burning. Brussels sprouts should be very dark in color. Adjust seasonings as needed.
