3 pounds chicken breasts (cooked and cut into bite size pieces)
6 hot (or mild)Italian sausage links browned (cooked and cut into bite sized pieces)
2 jars or spaghetti sauce (your choice)
1 package of pasta (your choice, shells or penne work best)
1 (2 cups+) large package of mozzarella or Italian blend shredded cheese
1 onion diced
2 green bell peppers large dice or slices
2 green onions diced (for garnish)
Cut up chicken, onion, peppers and sausage.
Boil pasta until al dente’ and drain (don’t over cook)
In a large mixing bowl, mix pasta, sausage, onion, peppers, chicken and sauce.
Put everything into a large 9×13 baking casserole. You may have some left. If so, make a mini casserole to freeze for later.
Top very heavily with cheese. Use more cheese if you need to but make sure the entire casserole is covered with cheese.
Bake at 325 degrees for about 45 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Garnish with greed onion. Top with grated parmesan and serve.
