ICED CHERRY JELL-O POUND CAKE

Ingredients

1 cake mix (cherry)
1/2 box cherry Jello (lg.)
4 eggs
3/4 c. salad oil
3/4 c. water

Directions:

Blend all ingredients then beat for 2 minutes. Pour into greased and floured 10 inch tube pan, or loaf pan, and bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. When cake is taken from the oven, punch 100 holes in cake with ice
pick through to the bottom. Pour icing over hot cake and remain in pan until cool.

For the Icing:
1/2 box cherry Jello
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. butter
2 c. powdered sugar

Dissolve Jello in hot water. Add 2 tablespoons batter, then stir in 2 cups of powdered sugar. Pour over cake.

NOTE: You can use any flavor of cake mix or Jell-O for this cake.
