Now first…start off making your favorite cornbread recipe or mix, enough for an 8×8 or 9×9-inch pan, bake and let cool. OK let’s get started!
One prepared loaf of cornbread, broken into small pieces
1/2 cup mayonnaise or more, depending on your preference
1/2 cup chopped green olives
1/4 cup jarred jalapenos (not fresh)
Handful of pecans
1 carrot, shredded
Cayenne pepper to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
Pinch of salt
1. Crumble prepared cornbread in a mixing bowl.
2. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise with remaining ingredients.
3. Combine cornbread with the mayonnaise mixture. Add in more mayonnaise if desired.
Chill and serve.
